Jul 31 FIFA Fan Fest Photography | 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia

Saint Petersburg, Russia - June 24, 2018

While hanging out at the FIFA Fan Fest in Saint Petersburg, Russia, I decided to walk around and capture some of the fans roaming around the Fan Fest. I pulled out my GH5 and the Lumix 42.5mm f/1.7 lens which I rarely use (I should use this lens more often). I have been wanting to do more street style photography of people, but I am hesitant to do it because I don't want any confrontations with people. So, I've been pushing myself to do it, and little by little I am building up my confidence.

Anyhow, these are some candid shots that I took of various fans. There were people from all around the world and it was interesting to see their different reactions and emotions as they watched the Colombia vs Poland match. Below are some of the photos I captured that day. Enjoy.
